MET BEHULP VAN EEN INNOVATIEVE TECHNIEK VOOR HET OPHALEN VAN OLIE IN LAWRENCE COUNTY (ILLINOIS)

Lawrence County (Illinois), een olieveld 106-jaar-oude had een piek en was in verval voor oliewinning. Olie bleef nog steeds in het veld, maar het werd steeds moeilijker om te herstellen. Productie op Lawrence veld was alleen verwijderen van 16 vaten olie per dag. Dat wil zeggen tot nu.

Een innovatieve proefproject, ondersteund door het departement van energie en wordt beheerd door Rex Energy Corp, maakt gebruik van een alkalische oppervlakteactieve stof polymeer (ASP) overstromingen techniek die heeft geholpen vierpersoonskamers productie uit het veld Lawrence. Deze extractiemethode is nu trekken van 65-75 vaten olie per dag.

De overstromingen techniek is zeer vergelijkbaar met de afwas. Het veld wordt geïnjecteerd met een watergedragen chemische oplossing bestaande uit alkalisch, oppervlakteactieve stoffen, en polymeren. Deze drie chemicaliën kunnen alleen niet zo veel op hun eigen; maar, wanneer gecombineerd, ze werken om te scheiden van de olie uit het veld zeer effectief...
